the only nameMany names have been given to the source of intent. However, the wholeness of its reality lies silently beyond any possibility of it being defined, described in words or named. Naming applies only to individual things or people, for their perceived existence is in the realm of dividedness and apparent separation. Intent is in no way secret, nor is it too complex to be comprehended, nor yet too sacred to approach. Because of the source of intent existing in the indivisible infiniteness and wholeness of eternity, the only name which could loosely be said to apply is the reality of it itself...and not a word name assigned to it. |
only a breath away “In all things, we can find the gentle reflections of peace, shining through to us as love, faithfully given. If we will but quietly listen and accept that it is wiser than our beliefs, we can discover the one of whom we are.” —the author |

intentUnlike the variable polarized mental abstraction we typically refer to as intent, there is a single unchanging intent which we can encounter as we quietly listen for it and as we become willing to open our hearts to the unconflicted guidance it impartially offers to all. This forever true intent is the seemingly elusive love in our lives, so different from those things we think of as love. Its value is in its source, which is the reality of peace. |
the truth born of faithIn our day to day conversations, strong beliefs, especially of a spiritual nature, is referred to as faith. However, it can be helpful to realize that belief is variable and often conflicted and thus bereft of the vitality of complete faithfulness. As we notice true intent, we find that it points toward its source of utter and complete peace that is timeless and unchanging. Thus it is legitimate to call it faithful. As we notice and gradually increase our willingness to listen to and follow after ever-faithful intent, our attitude takes on a less conflicted altitude...and thus becomes faith specifically because we’ve begun to rely upon that which is faithful and which has no agenda. As our faith increases in this way, our understanding shifts toward it as though to listen to its guidance. This in turn blesses our minds with a corresponding shift in our beliefs because we understand more and more according to the unchanging single nature of intent. We adopt this gladly as the revealed truth born of faith, for our renewed understanding from immersion knows it is entirely good and true. |
peace stands under “Throughout our lives, we’ve been helped along by thoughts woven into perspectives, beliefs and memorized best practices, calling this understanding. Peace stands quietly under all, with intent as its messenger flowing continually to us, birthing understanding within us.” —the author |
